Current Behavior: When a long lesson is automatically split into multiple parts, LingQ assigns the audio file only to the first part. As a result, parts 2 and onward lose the synchronized audio-text functionality, making it impossible to follow along with audio while reading—one of LingQ’s core strengths.
Desired Behavior: To maintain the integrity of the reading-while-listening experience, LingQ should either:
Avoid splitting long lessons altogether, or
If splitting is necessary, ensure that the corresponding audio is correctly segmented and assigned to each part.
This would significantly improve the usability of imported content like podcasts or audiobooks, where lesson length often exceeds platform limits.
Thanks for considering this enhancement!
