We had this in a previous version but it almost never got used because for most words it really isn't useful. So, we removed it to clean up the interface. Davide Roccato Niclas Pallin

Mark Kaufmann: probably it wasn't working as expected or the previous technology everyone had was slow compared to what we have now.
If you have time and the tech resources you could reconsider it.
Today we have technology that automatically reduce the size and the weight of images making them as icons for just few Kb. Plus we also have lazy load.
(before Apple's touch id nobody was using it because it was clumbsy, after Apple introduced it everybody had to upgrade their quality and installed it in their devices. Then we moved to face recognition).
Eventually, it would be nice to have the possibility to add them in the notes, that are also underused but could be very useful.
Whoever would like to go advance in a language would appreciate it.
In the example below, it'll take you a lot more time to have to describe what you see compared to just look at the picture in few seconds. And remember that those are not real "Angels on horseback".

Attaching images to words would be useful, even in notes, even as icons.
