Hi team, the Korean TTS on Android is so bad it interferes with language learning. I have had to disable it.

It would be great if you could implement some kind of TTS upgrade. The Naver Papago Korean voices api offers 3 or 4 free Korean voices (or at least they were free to me when I used one of them to generate the audio for my Korean anki deck.)

Of course the poor quality TTS may be a problem for other languages as well.

If you can't afford a better TTS engine for LingQ, maybe you could allow people to use the TTS engine in their devices. It was quite easy to install a good Korean TTS voice on my Samsung android phone, but I don't know how to get LIngQ to use the device TTS instead of whatever it has built in.
