Resizable video window

I think that the following is a duplicate/relevant:
https://lingq.canny.io/feature-requests/p/make-the-video-player-a-watchable-size-while-text-sync
On the issue at hand (the video player not being the best): I think that it could be wise to firstly embed the video player into the top of the lesson page and have a (more-or-less) half-size window under it for the text/subtitles. Allow picture-in-picture and resize the text-subtitles to the normal size.
A potential interface option, for those with more screen space, would be to have half video and half text/subtitle (which side is which would be selectable). This would be similar to the existing Double Page option in the Text Settings page. My extra-widescreen monitor needs something to do... :D

There's a lot of extra room on the page, it shouldn't be too hard to do at least a partial fix with a small CSS change

Totally agree! +1 if they can full screen it as well and make it like the sentence view but for the video!!

Icaro Ryanl;ove this idea, it would be like "super subtitles"

I second this. Especially in sentence view the video is so small, that it is impossible to read subtitles for example. This is problematic as the automated transcription isn't always correct and may need a countercheck with those subtitles (if existent). This is especially the case if the speakers in the video speak unclear, use debrivations, slang or a mixture of several languages.
