In tablet mode, when you click on the vocabulary to show up the interpretation column, sometimes there is a feeling of being bothered. If you can display the vocabulary above, it's clear at a glance, and you won't be disturbed. If you need to change the interpretation, you can pull down and call up the explanation column, or you can think of a way to modify the interpretation that is more in line with user habits. I used this app, and I think the way the explanation of the words in the picture is very good. You may be able to follow up

A playlist widget to the main page that allows users to instantly start playback with a single click This would save users from having to open the app, then playlist just to start playing it. A widget in the home screen to do immersion would be great!

Currently we have the a context example to help us work out the meaning of words which is great. When we check the answer we have the translation of the word, but not the whole example sentence - this would be REALLY useful to my learning - i hope others too? I use web and android app - it would help on BOTH!

Problem Once learners "graduate" from LingQ system they move on to Kindle and other ereaders or physical books to read for pleasure. Why lose these potential customers ? Why not keep them within LingQ ecosystem ? Since they would be reading ebooks normally for pleasure and LingQ team already have the expertise to make an ereader app. Solution : Create a new simple free ereader app just for reading books for pleasure. LingQ already have expertise on creating a complex ereader for language learning, a simple reader should not be difficult. This should be similar to moon+ reader or the Calibre software or kindle with a main focus on book library management and pure reading like a traditional book. It could also have audiobook features and radio/news listening feature. Other than a functional free version. It could also have a cheap subscription, ads supported or a one off payment for some additional premium features. It should be developed by a separate team to avoid impact on main lingQ development. App should support maintaining original imported ebook layout/formats in additions to customization. It should support epub3/pdf and other ebook/comic formats. It should have TTS. The app would start empty of any books and user just load their own books/comics into it. it should update some stats like word of reading on LingQ main app. While this app intention is to keep "graduated" lingQ users it would also attract new users who might want to use lingQ to learn language in the future.

I would love for an option to remove the words and lingq menu while reading in landscape on android. I find it very distracting and not useful for me.

Hi, I like to add notes while learning. For example i ask chatgpt for a word breakdown. And add the root of the word or some extra info (differences between 2 words with almost same meaning for example) as a note. However, i cant see quickly which word has a note and which doesnt, which makes it you have to make a lot of extra clicks just to see if a word has a note. Solution: add a small * or 1 on top/to the right of a word so we know it includes a note. Then if we see the word in a text we instantly know it has some extra info. Would improve the user experience quite a bit :) Hope its possible! Also I'm a new user, so i'd like to take this moment to say thank you for the app, enjoying it a lot so far!

Problem. For mobile app, under sentence view, the current play button is extremely high up and impossible to click with one hand operation on large phones button being right up there above the text causes covering of text when clicking it. A very serious problem if you want to replay and read several times or read more than 1 sentence per day. With 1 hand operation we have to do finger gymnastics to press play button while reading. This can lead to serious injuries and frustration. This can cause some humans to become violent, depressed or anxious. unhappy users equal loss of profits for LingQ. Solutions Most player (Audio/video) will have play button at the bottom. It is a natural intuitive position. In this way finger can always stay above the play button without covering any text. One can read and play audio repeatedly without crying in pain and suffering. Play button at bottom must be an option/setting so user can choose position Or ideally have option to float the play button so users can place it anywhere on screen. Bottom or floating play button position will dramatically improve reading speed and speed of learning of language. This will lead to happier language learner, happiness has a multiplier effect on language learning. All this will eventually lead to better reviews and result in massive profits for LinQ. Higher profit equals higher salaries and bonuses for staff.

Im not sure what how to refer to this screen but its when listening and reading to a playlist item. When viewing a text with audio on mobile, the highlighted current spoken/shown text automatically stays in the middle of the screen to make it easier to follow along without having to scroll the page up. Or better yet, include a way to control where the text will be fixed on the screen so one could choose it higher or lower when its being used. Currently the text is fixed to the bottom of the screen and moves up when the next sentence is spoken, this makes it harder for follow and see whats coming next, especially when there is a bit of delay when automatically moving to the next paragraph

When searching for words, the page that pops up shows very small text, especially when I want to copy phonetic transcripts, which is very difficult. There is no problem on the web. You can enlarge or shrink the page, and the text can be copied and pasted very easily with your finger. Please let the Android search word pop up on the dictionary page. You can slide your finger to zoom in or out.
