Im not sure what how to refer to this screen but its when listening and reading to a playlist item. When viewing a text with audio on mobile, the highlighted current spoken/shown text automatically stays in the middle of the screen to make it easier to follow along without having to scroll the page up. Or better yet, include a way to control where the text will be fixed on the screen so one could choose it higher or lower when its being used. Currently the text is fixed to the bottom of the screen and moves up when the next sentence is spoken, this makes it harder for follow and see whats coming next, especially when there is a bit of delay when automatically moving to the next paragraph

Hi, I like to add notes while learning. For example i ask chatgpt for a word breakdown. And add the root of the word or some extra info (differences between 2 words with almost same meaning for example) as a note. However, i cant see quickly which word has a note and which doesnt, which makes it you have to make a lot of extra clicks just to see if a word has a note. Solution: add a small * or 1 on top/to the right of a word so we know it includes a note. Then if we see the word in a text we instantly know it has some extra info. Would improve the user experience quite a bit :) Hope its possible! Also I'm a new user, so i'd like to take this moment to say thank you for the app, enjoying it a lot so far!

Hi team, the Korean TTS on Android is so bad it interferes with language learning. I have had to disable it. It would be great if you could implement some kind of TTS upgrade. The Naver Papago Korean voices api offers 3 or 4 free Korean voices (or at least they were free to me when I used one of them to generate the audio for my Korean anki deck.) Of course the poor quality TTS may be a problem for other languages as well. If you can't afford a better TTS engine for LingQ, maybe you could allow people to use the TTS engine in their devices. It was quite easy to install a good Korean TTS voice on my Samsung android phone, but I don't know how to get LIngQ to use the device TTS instead of whatever it has built in.

Reading from multiple sources and looking up the dictionary is an inherent part of language learning. There should be an easy way to lookup words translations (to a language of choice) and add them to the word list. It is possible to do it at the moment but in a very contrived that slows you down. There should be a more direct way for this.

I would love for an option to remove the words and lingq menu while reading in landscape on android. I find it very distracting and not useful for me.

anime manga are popular for those interested in learning Japanese. Any possibility looking into this request ?

In the web app, when clicking on a new word, it is possible to select the correct translation directly. In the Android app, you first have to add it with the default translation. Then you have to long-press it a second time, at which point you can fix the translation. It would be nice if this long-press worked the first time as well.
